Tony & Ziva Are Back: Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo Tease Explosive NCIS Spinoff

The NCIS franchise expands with NCIS: Tony & Ziva, welcoming back two fan-favorite characters for new adventures in Europe. Season one, starring Michael Weatherly as Tony DiNozzo and Cote de Pablo as Ziva David, premieres on Paramount+ on September 4, 2025 with the release of the first three episodes. New episodes will stream on Thursdays.

Paramount+ offers this description of the latest addition to the NCIS franchise: “NCIS: Tony & Ziva picks up after Ziva’s supposed death when Tony left the NCIS team to go raise their daughter. Years later, Ziva was discovered alive, leading her to complete one final mission with NCIS before she was reunited with Tony and their daughter in Paris. Since then — and where we find them in NCIS: Tony & Ziva — Tony and Ziva have been raising their daughter, Tali, together. When Tony’s security company is attacked, they must go on the run across Europe, try to figure out who is after them and maybe even learn to trust each other again so they can finally have their unconventional happily ever after.”

Teamed up for roundtables at the San Diego Comic-Con, Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo teased what’s in store and how it felt to return to their characters. The new series also stars Amita Suman, Maximilian Osinski, Lara Rossi, Isla Gie, Nassima Benchicou, Terence Maynard, Julian Ovenden, and James D’Arcy. John McNamara guides the series as showrunner and executive producer.

Cote de Pablo and Michael Weatherly also executive produce along with Laurie Lieser, Christina Strain, Shelley Meals, and Mairzee Almas.
