Perfect for the role, Fiennes Tiffin really did come across as a younger version of the character brought to life by his real-life uncle Ray Fiennes in other Harry Potter scenes.
Amazingly enough, even though Hero Fiennes Tiffin appeared in a Harry Potter movie, there now are millions of people who know him best for his role in another franchise. Hero Fiennes Tiffin Wasn’t Ready To Play Hardin Scott In The After Movies
Back in February of 2019, there was no way for anyone to truly know what was about to happen in the life of Hero Fiennes Tiffin. After all, even though Fiennes Tiffin was already enjoying success in his career, it was two months later that the movie After was released and made him a true movie star. Still, since Fiennes Tiffin was the star of a movie that was set to be released, he sat down for an interview with Elle.
During his aforementioned Elle interview, several interesting facts about Hero Fiennes Tiffin were revealed. Given Fiennes Tiffin’s heartthrob status, it shouldn’t surprise anyone that the most interesting fact about the young actor that came out of his Elle interview was related to his dating life. However, something Fiennes Tiffin revealed about his romantic history likely surprised just about everyone who was aware of the actor.
As it turns out, Fiennes Tiffin told the interviewer that by the time of his 2019 Elle interview, he was inexperienced when it comes to real-life romance. “Interestingly enough, I’ve never had, like, a proper relationship. I haven’t had a girl I would call my girlfriend.”
Since Hero Fiennes Tiffin is a professional actor, it is his job to pretend to feel emotions that he isn’t experiencing for real at that time. On top of that, actors are sometimes asked to portray characters that are going through things they have no way of truly understanding. For example, none of the actors who’ve starred in Jurassic Park movies know what it is like to run from dinosaurs.
Despite the truth about being an actor, it still seems very striking that Hero Fiennes Tiffin had never had a girlfriend before he starred in 2019’s After. Considering that Fiennes Tiffin had to properly portray a character overcome with passion for After to work as a film, it seems truly shocking he was so inexperienced when the movie was made.
In the years since Hero Fiennes Tiffin told Elle he had never been in a “proper relationship”, it hasn’t been confirmed that he has dated anyone in real life. Sure, there have been loads of rumors about Fiennes Tiffin dating his After co-star Josephine Langford but that speculation has repeatedly been denied by the actors. Despite the possibility that Fiennes Tiffin remains completely inexperienced, he seems to have perfected starring in romantic movies anyway.
