GOLDEN Bachelor star Theresa Nist has been photographed by herself after her split from Gerry Turner.
The reality star took out her trash outside her New Jersey home.
Theresa, 70, wore her pajamas outside while holding a trash can on Monday.
Only a paper plate could be seen sticking out the top of the bin.
The striped pajamas were white and gray with white stripes horizontally across them.
Theresa’s brown hair was down around her shoulders and did not appear brushed.
The Golden Bachelor star also had a makeup-free face.
In her other hand, Theresa held onto her cell phone.
She looked downcast as she placed the can near her mailbox.
Gerry’s ex walked back into the house after taking out her trash.
Theresa has continued to live in her New Jersey home after she split from Gerry, 72.
On April 12, Gerry and Theresa announced that they were getting a divorce after three months of marriage.
The exes tied the knot in a televised ceremony on January 4 after meeting on the reality show in August.
Theresa and Gerry announced their divorce on Good Morning America.
They said that their long-distance was the main reason for them breaking up.
“Theresa and I have had a number of heart-to-heart conversations and we’ve looked closely at our living situation,” Gerry said.
“We’ve come to the decision mutually that it’s probably time for us to dissolve our marriage.”
The couple had been living thousands of miles apart in the lead-up to their announcement.
Theresa was living in New Jersey while Gerry still resided in his northern Indiana lake house.
A few days after they announced their split, Gerry and Theresa opened up more about the reasons for it.
Three weeks before their announcement, the couple appeared on the Dear Shandy Podcast to discuss their relationship.
The hosts of the show Sharleen and Andy asked the ex-couple how their arguments go.
“We yell and scream and say sorry and we’re better for it,” Theresa told the podcast hosts.
Gerry said that their arguments were “intellectual jousting to start with.”
“Point, counterpoint, and then it’ll accelerate a little bit and we’ll start looking at each other like, ‘Really? I’m totally right.’”
After a while, they agreed that they had to stop fighting and find a compromise.
Weeks after Gerry and Theresa publicly announced their divorce, Gerry’s daughter, Angie, defended her father.
Angie pleaded with fans in an Instagram post and asked them to back off.
“It’s no surprise the news of my Dad and Theresa choosing to split has sparked a range of emotions and opinions. I love how invested people were in the show, what an experience to have you along for the ride!” she wrote.
“What has been disheartening is the level of rage and cruelty that our family has been met with. My Dad and Theresa are kind, good people that made this decision for them, no one else. I kindly urge everyone to remember that behind every story, there are real people with real feelings.”
Angie went on to thank fans who have shown Gerry and Theresa love and compassion.
