‘Ghosts’ Star Eyes Surprise Crossover with ‘Young Sheldon’ Actor Iain Armitage

Ghosts star Asher Grodman recently stirred up excitement by joking about working alongside Young Sheldon star Iain Armitage.

In an Instagram Story post, the former child star gushed about meeting the 37-year-old actor randomly.

Being a true Gen Z, Armitage marked the moment by snapping a selfie along with sweet words for Grodman, whom he called one of his “favorite people.”

“One of my favorite people to randomly run into,” he said, adding, “We keep having these Young SheldonGhosts crossover moments,” referencing their TV shows.

As a response, he reposted the photo with a reaction saying, “Right back at ya, bud,” before adding a playful suggestion about the teen star appearing in the hit sitcom.

“Raise your hand if you also think Iain Armitage needs to be on the Ghosts asap,” he said.

The interaction didn’t end there as the 17-year-old followed up by posting a throwback photo of himself raising his hand during his Young Sheldon days.

“Here’s my hand raising,” he said, expressing enthusiasm to join the show.

Iain Armitage rose to fame after playing the brilliant yet socially awkward Sheldon Cooper in the CBS series.

Young Sheldon, which aired from 2017 to 2024, not only featured his quirky antics but also the dynamic stories of his family, each with their own unique charm.

As for Grodman, he portrays one of the main characters of the Thursday show along with Rose McIver (Samantha), Rebecca Wisocky (Hetty Woodstone), Brandon Scott Jones (Captain Isaac Higgintoot), Román Zaragoza (Sasappis), Sheila Carrasco (Flower) and others.

Based on the British show of the same name, Ghosts revolves around a young couple named Samantha and Jay who inherit an old mansion in the countryside.

Although they initially wanted to rebuild it as a bed and breakfast, a near-death experience changed everything after Sam gained a strange ability to see and communicate with ghosts.

Little did they know that the run-down mansion houses elements from different historical periods, which include Trevor, played by Grodman, a Wall Street bro from the early 2000s.
