He also shared that the 54-year-old actress is taking her talents behind the scenes, too.

“She’ll also be bringing her incredible directing talents to the show this season! More fun (and surprises) to come,” he continued in the caption.

Bridget celebrated the big news in the comments, writing, “So excited to be part of this old and new family!!!”

When one user asked, “Can we have the rest of the Reagans, too?” Wahlberg responded directly, writing, “Hopefully.”

Wahlberg and Moynahan worked together from 2010 to 2024 for the entire “Blue Bloods” 14-season run on CBS. They played Detective Danny Reagan and Assistant District Attorney Erin Reagan, respectively, as well as siblings.

The new spinoff follows his character’s next chapter with the Boston P.D. It’s a welcome return for viewers still reeling from the show’s unexpected end in December 2024.

“Blue Bloods” premieres Friday, October 17, on CBS.
