“So Freaking Happy!” Fans Lose It Over Wahlberg & Moynahan’s On-Set Reunion

TV siblings Donnie Wahlberg and Bridget Moynahan are back together. The ‘Blue Bloods’ costars, who played siblings Danny and Erin Reagan, are reuniting for the spinoff ‘Boston Blue.’

The new series revolves around Danny Reagan joining the Boston P.D., and Moynahan is confirmed to guest star and direct at least one episode. That’s good news for ‘Blue Bloods’ fans still smarting from the show’s untimely cancellation in December 2024.

In fact, the show’s devout fanbase rushed to the comment section of an adorable selfie shared by both actors on social media. In the post, Wahlberg wrote, “Reunited and it feels so good! So excited to have my dear friend, and TV sister @bridgetmoynahan, join me for a special guest appearance in the premiere episode of #BostonBlue! She’ll also be bringing her directing incredible talents to the show this season! More fun (and surprises) to come. 👀 Let’s go!”
