Gordon Ramsay dines at Guy Fieri’s Foxwoods Kitchen

Gordon Ramsay was spotted at Foxwoods Resort Casino trying another celebrity chef’s restaurant. Ramsay has a Hell’s Kitchen restaurant at Foxwoods, and the “Hell’s Kitchen” TV show will film two seasons there. And, according to a May 6 Instagram post from Guy Fieri’s Foxwoods Kitchen, Ramsay dropped in for a visit.

“Great serving the legendary chef @gordongram today! He REALLY ❤️ the Buffalo Cauliflower, Hot Honey & BBQ Wings, Southwest Chopped Salad,” reads the caption accompanying a photo of Ramsay.

In the photo, Ramsay is wearing a baseball cap with the logo for “MasterChef” and holding up a plate that’s signed “[expletive] delicious. Love, Gordon.”

A casting application for competitors on “Hell’s Kitchen” notes mid-May to July 2024 as a potential filming window, so Ramsay may have been at the complex for filming. (A representative who works with the “Hell’s Kitchen” production company, ITV America, said all casting is complete.)

It was announced in March that “Hell’s Kitchen” will film seasons 23 and 24 at Foxwoods, after filming previous seasons in California and Las Vegas. Shooting will take place on a set, not in the Hell’s Kitchen restaurant that opened in July at Foxwoods.

Although this is the first time the show will film in Connecticut, it has had some Nutmeg State talent in the past. Scott Leibfried, a former sous chef on the show, is working with Music & Industry, a new restaurant coming to South Norwalk. Kevin Cottle, who competed on season 6, is the executive chef of Fire at the Ridge in Middlefield. Another season 6 competitor, Van Hurd, is now the executive chef of Fire by Forge in Hartford.
