Ever since the Star Wars franchise concluded its Skywalker Saga with 2019’s Episode IX — The Rise of Skywalker, Disney decided to put more focus on the small screen content. Starting with The Mandalorian, which was the launch series for Disney+ in November 2019, Disney started developing new Star Wars stories through TV shows, and more spin-off shows were announced in December 2020.
Although Disney won’t stop developing Star Wars content for the silver screen, there’s still plenty of time before we get another Star Wars movie. There’s a handful of Star Wars movies currently in development, but still, TV shows for Disney+ are currently a priority for both Disney and Lucasfilm, and in this article, we’re going to list all of them.
