Calling all Bachelor Nation lovers! The time has finally come to meet the cast of ABC’s highly anticipated show The Golden Bachelor. The spinoff series, which airs this week (!!) on September 28th, will follow 72-year-old Gerry Turner on his quest for a second shot at love.
The contestants are unlike anything you’ve seen in Bachelor Nation before. There is everyone from Christmas lovers to Judge Judy fanatics. And forget about dramatic edits in the trailers. This time around, the women will be direct with the drama. For example, the New York Times recently reported that one scandal in the mansion included whose dish gave the contestants gas. 70-year-old Patty is coming to the mansion from Durham, North Carolina. But this isn’t her first time in the world of all things The Bachelor. In fact, she’s the mother of season 25 bachelor Matt James, per ABC. Her bio also states that she’s an avid sailor and loves body glitter. She also (clearly) takes a killer selfie.
A dental hygienist from East Haven, Connecticut, Peggy is all about helping others. The 69-year-old had previously retired but missed her job so much that she returned, per her ABC bio. It wouldn’t be a surprise if her passion shines through on the show!
