As the executive producer, co-creator and star of the hit drama Fire Country, Max Thieriot is a busy man. For the last two seasons, fans have seen him portray prison inmate Bode Leone, who finds himself donning firefighting gear while putting out fires alongside his loved ones on dangerous missions.
Of course, the actor leads a very different life from that of his character. Ahead of Fire Country‘s season 2 finale, we caught up with Max to talk about his real-life essentials. As a proud husband to wife Lexi Murphy and dad to sons Beaux and Maximus, he’s all about embracing the family man vibe — and the products he uses on a regular basis definitely reflect that fact.
Pillow Slippers
“My wife, Lexi, ordered herself a pair of these online,” Max admits. “I happened to squeeze into hers one day to take the trash out and thought, ‘Dang… these are super comfy.’ The next day I asked if she would order me a pair and they are my new favorites to wear around the house and yard.”

Max called out this battery-operated laser tag set as a current favorite for his sons. He also shares that “they have been big into whiffle ball in the backyard now that it’s spring” in addition to the “trampoline, inexpensive rubber bases for yard baseball, and like many kids, Fortnite and flag football.”
