Timeless Fan-Favorite Sitcom Spinoff Quietly Drops New Seasons on Netflix

The Big Bang Theory spin off Young Sheldon will soon be available to stream in full on Netflix.

The prequel series follows a young Sheldon Cooper as he navigates life as one of the brightest brains in his small Texan town.

Surrounded by his eclectic family and zany neighbours, Sheldon slowly learns to integrate – though he maintains his superiority complex.

The show ran for seven seasons before coming to an end last year. Now, fans can binge the whole boxset on Netflix when the final season arrives on 1 July.

The appearances came as a welcome surprise, given the beloved nature of the original series, which fans have declared “never gets old”.

“There aren’t many shows that you can watch over and over and still laugh, but this is one of them. Every actor plays their character to perfection, and the writing is great,” one fan wrote on IMDb.

“I have seen a few episodes of the new CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory and to me it’s one of the best written sitcoms currently on network TV. The scripts are filled with scientific references some people might not understand but they are very witty,” added another.

Young Sheldon season 7 will stream on Netflix on 1 July.
