While Dakota dominates the indie circuit, Jamie Dornan is taking a darker turn with The Undertow, a Netflix noir thriller where he plays identical twin brothers with diverging pasts. Set in the haunting Scottish Highlands, the series is a slow-burning exploration of grief, revenge, and fractured identity.

Dornan portrays both characters—one a reclusive fisherman, the other a rising crime boss—with chilling detail. The dual role pushed him to emotional extremes, as he told ICON Magazine: “It’s the hardest I’ve ever worked. I wasn’t just memorizing lines. I was untangling lives.”
