Michael And Willow’s Conflict Over Drew Will Impact Everybody

Willow’s plan to marry Drew to regain custody of her children may backfire this week. Michael’s response to learning about Drew’s wedding plans is to give Willow an ultimatum: drop the wedding or lose all access to Wiley and Amelia. Willow’s recent instability suggests she could take extreme action, such as kidnapping Daisy, to get Michael to back off, and Drew has shown that he’s willing to do almost anything to ensure Willow and Michael never reconcile. Michael’s threats are a recipe for disaster, and the conflict may come to a climax at Daisy’s christening on Friday.

Willow’s Reactions Could Lead Toward Violence Against Drew

It seems Drew got his way for the time being. Michael’s threats make it clear there is no longer any chance of him and Willow reconciling, at least not at the moment. However, Willow’s response will likely cause more chaos, especially if she does anything to harm Daisy. Kidnapping the baby or otherwise interfering with the christening would drag Sasha into Michael and Willow’s mess, which can only make things more complicated for everyone involved. Additionally, there is plenty of evidence that Drew will be shot at his wedding to Willow.

This might have happened regardless of the custody issue, considering how angry Michael is that Drew has not only interfered in his relationship with Willow but is now marrying her. However, if Willow’s behavior impacts Sasha and Daisy, that might be the last straw for Michael as far as his interfering uncle goes. Of course, it wouldn’t be much of a mystery if it were clear from the outset that Michael was the shooter, so it’s equally likely that someone else pulled the trigger. However, this scenario gives Michael a strong motive for murder.

General Hospital has several other strong storylines not related to the Michael/Willow drama. Tracy’s conflict with Drew will also come to a head. Although supposedly her public statement is supposed to be an admission that she drugged him, she is likely going to go off-script. Sonny will also take action to stop Sidwell from targeting his family, which could lead to the violence he’s trying to prevent. This drama all seems to be a setup for Drew’s shooting, and Michael and Willow’s story offers a compelling set of circumstances that puts suspicion on Michael for the crime.
