Monte-Carlo Festival Lights Up with One Chicago’s Finest

One Chicago stars shine as they attend the star-studded Monte-Carlo Television Festival in Monaco. The One Chicago universe continues to be one of the most popular and successful franchises on NBC, with all three shows recently renewed for the 2025-2026 TV cycle. Hitting the festival circuit is commonplace for stars of popular TV shows, and there are chances for shows and stars to scoop some of the most prestigious awards in the industry.

Per the official NBC One Chicago Instagram page, the account posted images of One Chicago stars arriving at the Monte-Carlo Television Festival with the caption “One Chicago goes international.” Chicago Fire‘s Jocelyn Hudon and Hanako Greensmith, who play paramedics Lizzie Novak and Violet Mikami, respectively, are joined by Benjamin Aguilar, who plays Dante Torres in Chicago P.D., and Darren Barnet, who portrays Chicago Med‘s Dr. John Frost. The four pose together in two of the images, while Greensmith and Hudon pose together in another image, and there are also separate images of Barnet and Aguilar.

Festivals like this are a great opportunity to boost the profile and public image of the shows and their stars. Given that all three shows are guaranteed to be returning in the Fall, this gives the cast of Chicago FireChicago P.D., and Chicago Med the chance for some down-time, whilst also ensuring they continue to improve the reach and status of the shows. The fact that actors from all across the franchise are uniting for this festival shows the international appeal of the One Chicago shows.

Bringing together the stars from all three shows emulates the crossover episodes that have become such an exciting and defining feature of the franchise. What’s more, this could be a subtle reference to the recent One Chicago crossover event, as well as a hint that fans can expect to see more crossovers and cross-character interactions in upcoming seasons as well. It’s certainly exciting to see cast members from all three shows interact together and look so relaxed, comfortable, and happy with one another, which bodes well for the future of the show.
