CBS’ FBI fans outraged as beloved franchise takes break from new episodes in ‘maddening’ change to schedule

The reason for reruns on Tuesday was not because anything else aired in its place

THE FBI franchise has undergone a crazy schedule change.

None of the CBS shows in the universe aired new episodes on its normally scheduled night.

FBI, FBI: International, and FBI: Most Wanted were all reruns on Tuesday night.

The three shows aired their new seasons on February 13.

They will all have shortened seasons due to the May 2023 writers’ and actors strikes that affected most scripted shows.

The FBI shows will return with new episodes on May 7 for episode 11.

CBS had already announced that the dramas would air their finales on May 21.

With each series having 13 episodes in the season, the reason for not airing on April 30 was simply because the season needs to be dragged out longer to reach the finale date.

Despite the schedule change already being decided, fans were mad because they didn’t get a warning before they turned on their TV and saw a rerun.

‘I’M MAD’

FBI fans posted on X, formerly Twitter, when they remembered that there was no new episode last night.
