The Next Frontier: Jamie Dornan on Producing, Power, and Picking His Projects

Jamie Dornan is stepping into the producer’s chair—and not just in name. With The Undertow, 12 12 12, and more projects in development, he’s now shaping the stories he wants to tell.

His move to producing started with The Tourist Season 2. “I wanted to be involved in every layer—casting, pacing, even color grading,” he said. “I’m addicted to the full process now.”

His upcoming documentary-style drama Adolescence explores youth violence through a raw, intimate lens. Dornan says this is the kind of work that keeps him passionate.

By 2025, his calendar is full. But he’s also strategic. “I’m not trying to do everything. I just want to do the right things.”

Fans who knew him as the brooding Mr. Grey may be surprised by his evolution. But Dornan sees this as growth. “That role opened doors. Now I’m walking through the ones I choose.”

His approach is clear: create, collaborate, and stay curious. In 2025, Jamie Dornan isn’t just acting—he’s architecting a legacy.
