While slow-burn relationships that do not receive proper closure are common, relationships that involve faked deaths, revivals, and secret daughters are less common. Tony and Ziva have been through so much on NCIS that their lack of an on-screen happy ending on the show is almost a tragedy.

Seeing the pair get married in a spinoff show dedicated to their relationship would almost make up for NCIS’ decision to make their reunion happen off-screen.
