Series star Danielle Pinnock has high hopes for Pete and Alberta’s Ghosts season 5 relationship. The spirits of CBS’s Ghosts are the show’s true stars, despite how pivotal Rose McIver’s Sam and Utkarsh Ambudkar’s Jay are to the show’s success. However, in later episodes of Ghosts season 4, Alberta finds herself increasingly shocked and perturbed by her unexpected attraction to Pete. Pete has held a candle to Alberta for some time now, but he seemingly rejected her advances when she went to kiss him near the end of the season.

Fortunately, Ghosts season 4, episode 22, “The Devil Went Down To Woodstone,” revealed that Pete was only turning down Alberta temporarily. After breaking things off with his long-distance girlfriend Donna, Pete returned newly single and hooked up with Alberta. Pete and Alberta’s relationship has a lot of potential in Ghosts season 5 since, as Pinnock’s comments point out, viewers haven’t seen much of Alberta’s softer side so far.
