I don’t know if I will get the call. We’ll see. But Jubal would love it. Alright, what’s next?” Sisto said.

CIA Promo Recently Dropped

First Look at FBI's Season 6 Episode 2 - PREVIEW - YouTube

Tom Ellis, who starred as the titular character in Lucifer, is leading the cast of CIA. CBS recently released a new TV promo for the show which stated that it was coming to the network in the fall. In the clip, Ellis introduces himself and says he will be playing the part of “Hart Hoxton” in CIA. He also said he was excited for fans to see the show when it premieres later this year. The promo also included a small clip of a gunfight.

CIA’s official synopsis reads, “CIA is a one-hour crime drama centered on two unlikely partners – a fast-talking, rule-breaking loose cannon CIA case officer (Tom Ellis), and a by-the-book, seasoned and smart FBI agent who believes in the rule of law. When this odd couple are assigned to work out of CIA’s New York Station, they must learn to work together to investigate cases and criminals posing threats on U.S. soil, finding that their differences may actually be their strength.”

CIA Star on How the Show Will Delve Deeper into the FBI Universe

In a previous interview with US Weekly, Ellis talked about the show, saying it was going to expand on what FBI has done in its run so far. “We’re going to take what the FBI guys have set up in that kind world,” Ellis said. “We’re going to then visit it through the eyes of the CIA,” he said.

“We might get a little crossover with FBI from time to time, but ultimately, this is going to be about how the CIA goes about its business on homeland soil and why it’s important that these very different bureaus share information with each other and how for the greater good,” Ellis stated.

For fans of the franchise, the fact that CIA could expand on what FBI has done so far is a good thing, since two FBI spinoffs, FBI: Most Wanted and FBI: International, were both canceled by CBS.
