General Hospital Stars Ready for Feud with The Young & the Restless Cast

Stars from General Hospital will compete against The Young & the Restless stars this summer on Celebrity Family Feud.

When it comes to the daytime soaps, it’s all in the family, especially when it comes to raising money for a good cause. Recently, stars from The Young & the Restless and General Hospital got together to do just that when they filmed an upcoming episode of Celebrity Family Feud, competing against each other to win $25,000 for their chosen charities.

As reported in Parade, Lauralee Bell (Christine) and Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea) from Y&R took to Instagram to announce their upcoming appearance on the show, but it wasn’t until Michelle Stafford (Phyllis) posted a behind-the-scenes video on her own Instagram account that we learned that the soap they would be competing against was GH.

Stafford posted a video and photos with the caption, “A fun weekend 💜💜💜 #familyfued #yr #gh Both shows are family ❤️.” In the video, GH’s Finola Hughes (Anna) and Donnell Turner (Curtis) are shown. Stafford previously appeared on General Hospital as Nina Reeves before she returned to Y&R, and the role of Nina was recast with Cynthia Watros.

Hughes and Turner will be joined by GH co-stars Tanisha Harper (Jordan), Maurice Benard (Sonny), and Rena Sofer (Lois). They will compete against Stafford, Bell, and Egan alongside their Y&R co-stars Bryton James (Devon) and Joshua Morrow (Nick).

No word yet on which charity each show has chosen, but we will keep you updated. No airdate for the episode has been announced, but it is expected to air this summer.
