On those rare occasions when there is a full body shot of Steffy, she has on a long sweater that hides her figure.When a soap begins to film a character differently, it can sometimes mean the actress is pregnant. That is the case with Steffy on The Bold and the Beautiful.
Jacqueline MacInnes Wood, who plays Steffy, is pregnant with her fifth child. The actress announced the news in March, revealing she was nearly seven months pregnant.
Since this isn’t Wood or B&B’s first rodeo hiding a pregnancy, it was easy for fans to notice a change in Steffy. She has spent a good portion of the last eight years pregnant while working on the CBS soap.
Even though Steffy has two children, only one of Wood’s pregnancies has been written into the show. In 2021, Steffy became pregnant with Hayes to accommodate Wood, who was expecting her second child, Lenix.
The Bold and the Beautiful is gearing up for Wood’s maternity leave by setting the stage for Luna (Lisa Yamada) to do something to Steffy to keep the character off-screen.
Wood and her husband, Elan Ruspoli, will soon welcome their fifth child. They are parents to Rise, 6, Lenix, 4, Brando, 2, and Valor, 18 months.
