Bold and the Beautiful Casts Cruel Summer’s Lisa Yamada as Mysterious Fashion Student (Exclusive)

TVLine has learned exclusively that the long-running CBS daytime drama The Bold and the Beautiful has cast Cruel Summer vet Lisa Yamada in the new, contract role of Luna, a college student in fashion design who arrives at Forrester Creations “surrounded by mystery” and harboring a (hopefully suuuuper-soapy) secret.

Yamada began taping Bold and the Beautiful episodes last week, and her first airdate is currently scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 13.

The Bold and the Beautiful, now in its 37th season, airs weekdays on CBS, at 1:30 pm ET.

In addition to her Cruel Summer role as musician Parker Tanaka, Yamada’s previous TV credits include the South Korean YA/zombie series All of Us Are Dead (which streams on Netflix), Hulu’s Little Fires Everywhere and episodes of Never Have I EverPromised LandAll American and Man With a Plan.

OK, savvy B&B fans, what’s your knee-jerk theory on who Luna really is and the secret she arrives with?
