Jamie Oliver Dishes on His Real Feelings Toward Gordon Ramsay After Long-Running Feud

Jamie Oliver has revealed what he really thinks of Gordon Ramsay after their decades-long feud.

The chefs’ spat started in 2009 when Gordon was accused of comparing an Australian journalist to a pig by Jamie.

Gordon then went on to call Jamie a “one-pot wonder” and “just a cook” the following year, while declaring himself to be “a chef.”

However, in a recent interview with The Times, Jamie addressed their friendship.

He explained: “Me and Gordon are absolutely friends, our little berating decade is behind us.”

“He’s smashing life at the moment. He’s doing things that no chef’s ever done. We’re on good terms and long may it continue.

The pair’s long-time feud hit a boiling point over comments made by Jamie months after Gordon’s wife’s miscarriage.

Gordon accused Jamie of “judging” him for having four kids at the time (he now has six), compared to the Naked Chef star’s five.

He also asked that he apologise to Tana before they could reconcile.

He told Radio Times that their long-term “feud” was “fun” until Jamie commented on his family.

He said: ‘Jamie turned round and said, ‘I’ve got five kids, he’s got four kids.’ To judge someone else’s family on the amount of kids you have.’

He said: “Boys will always fight and butt heads but Tana was mortified, I mean really mortified.”

Gordon Ramsay and wife Tana

Gordon recently shared a TikTok video of himself using one of his rival’s recipe books and confessed that his wife Tana makes shepherd’s pie and lasagne using Jamie’s cookbooks when she hosts guests.

In a video alongside a clip that read: “Do you think Gordon Ramsey ever listens to this and thinks about Jamie Oliver,” referencing the song Girl, so confused by Charli XCX, Gordon poked fun at the feud.

Gordon stitched the video, saying: “Guys that’s old news, I love Jamie,” as he held up the chef’s cookbook, Jamie’s Italy.
