Australian business mogul and Boost Juice founder Janine Allis also revealed her go-to meal for times “when you’re really desperate”.
As the owner of a multi-million dollar company, we’re sure she’s got some tips!
Gordon and Janine went head-to-head as hosts and mentors in the cut-throat new series Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars, where they searched for Australia’s most innovative and brightest food and drink ideas.
But it seems Gordon has quite the innovative food idea himself.
“When I come home, I put together these incredible gourmet beans on toast,” he began.
“I’ll get sourdough bread, I’ll drizzle it with olive oil, I’ll toast in on the agar,” Gordon revealed. “Then I’ll smear it with Marmite and then I’ll get some sriracha and I’ll sort of caramelise my baked beans…”
Marmite? Now that’s a twist we haven’t thought of!
“But I haven’t finished yet,” he said.
There’s about three more mouth-watering steps to his breakfast creation and you can hear everything he had to say in the video above.
“And that’s it! It’s like man, I’m like a pig in sh-t right now,” Gordon smiled.
In their interviews, Janine and Gordon spilled the beans on everything from their surprise favorite dish, to unusual eating habits, and how Gordon’s “size 15 feet” helps him train for marathons.
“I swim like a dolphin, it’s extraordinary,” he beamed.
