Dakota Johnson is widely considered one of Hollywood’s most famous young actresses.
And the beauty got her big break back in 2015, when she was cast as Anastasia Steele in the big-budget adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey.
Since then, the 29-year-old has appeared in two additional Fifty Shades films, steaming up the screen alongside co-star Jamie Dornan.
While the Fifty Shades franchise was a commercial juggernaut, grossing $1.8 billion at the global box office, the films were slammed by critics.
‘Would I do it again? Yeah, if I were back in my circumstances before those movies, I would for sure do them again,’ she insisted.
The starlet further added: ‘They have led my career to a really incredible place and I have also grown so much from them. Even if there were some bumps in the road, I learned from them and they’ve made me resilient.’
Earlier this year, co-star Jamie also spoke about his role in the Fifty Shades films – however many believed it sounded as if he may regret signing onto the frisky franchise.
‘A part of me still can’t really believe I did those films’, he told The Irish Sun in January. ‘There’s an element in me that’s going, ‘Why did they make movies out of those books?”
Meanwhile, Dakota is currently gearing up for a new role alongside Tilda Swinton in the supernatural thriller, Suspiria.
It comes off the back of her appearance in the critically-acclaimed neo-noir film Bad Times at the El Royale.
