Gordon Ramsay’s L.A. Home Scene of Disturbing Late-Night Incident

Gordon Ramsay unfortunately just fell victim to a rather disturbing prank call. Police were dispatched to the famous chef’s Los Angeles home after a call came reporting a gunman opening fire, which turned out to be false.

According to TMZ, LAPD officers responded to the call at 8:40 p.m. on Tuesday, April 22 after the unknown person reported a shooting at the Kitchen Nightmares host’s mansion in Bel Air.

The outlet reports that police investigated, and it turned out to be another celebrity “swatting” incident — a prank call posing as a serious emergency, intended to trigger a rapid, forceful response from police or SWAT teams. Nicki Minaj, Jennifer Aniston, Justin Bieber and more stars have previously also fell victim to this kind of hoax.

Parade has reached out to Ramsay’s team for comment. As of publish time, he hasn’t acknowledged the incident on social media. He did, however, post a promo for his guest judging spot on Masterchef Australia that same day.
