‘Yellowstone’ star to release first full-length country album this week
If you are a “Yellowstone” fan who also happens to like country music — and there figures to be plenty of crossover there — buckle up because this is a big week.
And that’s because Luke Grimes, who plays Kayce Dutton on the hit show and also starred as Elliot Grey in “Fifty Shades of Grey,” is slated to drop his first, full-length country album on Friday.
Grimes actually first announced the release back on Feb. 2 on Instagram.
“My first full-length album is coming out on March 8th,” he wrote. “I’ve spent the last couple of years trying to make something that I would be proud to put into the world. Now, all I can hope for is that it finds a few people to connect to and it makes them feel like they aren’t going through all of this alone. That’s what my favorite music has always done for me.”
The self-titled album has 13 tracks, eight of which can already be listened to on Apple Music.
Grimes also released an eight-track EP titled “Pain Pills or Pews” last year.
The second half of season 5 of “Yellowstone” is reportedly set to air in November.
