NCIS ‘tough guy’ star joins The Lincoln Lawyer season 4 cast

Fans of The Lincoln Lawyer are buzzing for the hit show’s return, especially after the nail-biting finish to season three.
Not only is the show returning with fresh storylines, but also a stellar lineup of guest stars is also set to appear. One of the actors tipped is an actress who gained fame from her role in other hit show NCIS.
The casting of Sasha Alexander has been officially announced; she will be gracing the series – which will also see a former House of Cards star appear in season four – as FBI Agent Dawn Ruth, a “no nonsense” and “intimidating” character.
Variety described: “she and her colleague interrupt Mickey’s dinner to not-so-subtly threaten him to drop his investigation into the FBI, or else.”

The last season of The Lincoln Lawyer ended with character Mickey Haller arrested after Sam Scales turned up dead in his car trunk.

Series honcho Ted Humphrey dished out some tantalizing details to Tudum about the upcoming fourth season: “Well, the biggest cliff-hanger of all is ‘What is going to happen to Mickey?’ and that one certainly plays out across the whole season in the form of his trial.”

Humphrey teased what’s coming next, saying, “But in the first episode you’ll understand at least the broad strokes of what specifically has happened and what charges – and adversaries – Mickey is facing.
“This is going to be the biggest and most personal challenge Mickey has ever faced, and also the biggest roller coaster we’ve yet taken our audience on.”

Sasha Alexander is widely recognized for her role as Agent Caitlin Todd in the first two seasons of NCIS, where she shared the screen with actors Mark Harmon and Michael Weatherly who portrayed Gibbs and Tony DiNozzo, respectively.
After her stint on NCIS, she went on to feature in other hit series like Rizzoli and Isles and Shameless.

Explaining her decision to depart from NCIS, Sasha laid it out to TV Guide, saying: “People don’t realize that on a network show, you make 24 episodes a year – that’s 10½ months a year, 17 hours a day.

“It’s hardcore. Plus, people really loved the character, and the way they did it was really shocking…it was a bullet to the head, you know?”.
When probed about any second thoughts on leaving NCIS, she said: “I really firmly believe in my heart that I would not be where I am today – happily married, with two kids, doing things creatively that I want – if I had stayed.

“I didn’t want to wake up and be in my forties and go, ‘Oh, my gosh!’ But people don’t understand.”
