Jewel has finally spoken out on her rumoured relationship with Kevin Costner as she admitted she finds the “public fascination” with them “intense”.
Jewel has finally dished out the gossip fans have been waiting for when it comes to her rumoured romance with Kevin Costner.
The 49-year-old singer broke her silence on the matter during an interview with ELLE magazine published on April 10, in which she briefly spoke about the Yellowstone actor, 69, gushing: “He’s a great person.”
According to the outlet, the Foolish Games singer was blushing when probed about the actor before she admitted: “The public fascination is intense for sure.”
It was first reported that the musician and the John Dutton actor were dating back in November – six months after he split from his longtime wife, Christine Baumgartner.
The rumours then intensified when the pair were seen together at a charity event in the British Virgin Islands in December 2023.
“There was definitely something going on. They were flirty, and when they were together, it was like they both just lit up,” an onlooker told TMZ at the time.
They added: “You could tell they were trying to be discreet, but anybody who saw them could tell something was going on.”
Photos from the trip showed Jewel getting up close and personal with the Body Guard actor by sitting on his lap as he wrapped his arms around her waist.
After the pictures began circulating the internet a source told DailyMail.com that the duo had their mutual friend Richard Branson to thank for their blossoming romance, after the billionaire invited them both to his private island.
The insider claimed that Jewel fell for the actor’s “country western vibe” during the getaway, but added that while they are only “having fun,” they are “not serious.”
A separate source also said that Kevin’s ex Christine, was not surprised that he had moved on so quickly – but was glad it was with Jewel and not some “fame-seeking bimbo.”
