Keeping up with Gerry Turner is becoming exhausting. The Golden Bachelor alum made his reality TV debut in 2023 and subsequently married Theresa Nist in a televised ceremony. Then, like true reality stars, they divorced a few months later.
After the divorce, Gerry revealed a bone cancer diagnosis, but he also managed to find time to meet a new lover. Somehow, between all of that, he also wrote a book. He just announced that his latest project is a memoir, and it will be hitting the shelves soon.
Golden Bachelor Gerry Turner is releasing a book

Gerry announced the news of his tell-all memoir with People. Set for release on November 4, the book is titled Golden Years: What I’ve Learned from Love, Loss, and Reality TV.
According to Gerry, his memoir will give people a chance to get to know him beyond what we saw on The Golden Bachelor and in the headlines. Perhaps we’ll also get some insight into why he really cut things off with Theresa.
“I am more than what people saw on reality TV, and now everyone can get a glimpse of my life and finally see the unedited story of the Golden Bachelor,” Gerry told the outlet.
Part of what Gerry plans on discussing is how he navigated the loss of his first wife. When we met him on The Golden Bachelor, he touched on how that grief impacted him. In the book, expect to learn a whole lot more. Maybe we’ll even get some tea on his new lover.
“Rich with behind-the-scenes insights into filming the show and hard-won rules he lived by when putting himself back into the dating world, Golden Years tells Gerry Turner’s complete story for the first time,” a synopsis teased.
