Former Golden Bachelor star Theresa Nist is still rocking her wedding ring given to her by Gerry Turner following their divorce.
Theresa Nist, was seen with her wedding band this Friday, despite recently announcing her split from husband Gerry Turner after just three months of marriage.
The 70-year-old was spotted outside her office in New Jersey, her finger adorned with an 18-diamond eternity band.
However, her engagement ring, a separate piece given to her by Gerry on the show, was nowhere in sight.
Theresa had told People magazine how much she really liked the engagement ring, a 3.15 carat Neil Lane diamond, which she plans to return due to her contract.
She and Gerry had shared the sad news of their separation during a Good Morning America appearance.
Gerry, 72, explained that despite their deep conversations and efforts to align their living situations, it was best they lived apart.
“Theresa and I have had a number of heart-to-heart conversations… and looked closely to our living situations,” he said, adding that he still holds love for Theresa.
Their search for a home together was fruitless, with attempts in both South Carolina and New Jersey falling through.
“We just looked at homes after home, but we never got to the point where we made that decision,” Theresa recounted on “Good Morning America.”
The couple, who met during the first season of Golden Bachelor and married in January in a televised ceremony, confirmed they have a prenuptial agreement.
Gerry’s image has recently been tainted by a story from the Hollywood Reporter, accusing him of breaking up with a former partner, Carolyn, due to her weight gain.
Dismissing these allegations, Gerry told the New York Times, “I mean, I’m sitting across from Theresa right now, and I look at her, and she’s the love of my life. I really don’t have time to think about some of the other stuff.”
