‘Yellowstone’ Star Cole Hauser Named Honorary Fort Worth Police Officer

Well, not a sheriff and also not really, but the Fort Worth Police Department honored one of Yellowstone’s biggest stars yesterday for the work he’s done giving back to those who serve our country.

Cole Hauser, maybe better known as “Rip Wheeler”, was appointed an honorary Police Officer by Chief Noakes during a ceremony attended by hundreds of officers and their families.

A post made by the department read in part:

“THE Cole Hauser, aka Rip from Yellowstone was appointed an honorary Fort Worth Police Officer today by Chief Noakes as a small token for his respect and support for the men & women in blue who serve our community and our military members and veterans.”

While he’s been a lifelong supporter of law enforcement, Hauser recently opened Free Rein Coffee Company, which focuses on the hard working and early rising lifestyle of the military, law enforcement, and first responders. A portion of each purchase goes to a variety of charities, including the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, an organization that provides educational and other opportunities to the children of fallen service members.

If you were wondering, yes, the officers who came out for the event went home with more than their fair share of Free Rein coffee.

Getting out in the community and actively supporting those that keep everything running is the best way for you to chip in, but you can also grab a bag of the classic American Dirt, highly caffeinated Heavy Spur, or a flavorful Texas Pecan roast as a tip of your cap to our country’s heroes.

Hopefully we get some news on how Yellowstone is going to wrap up, but it’s good to see Cole Hauser making the most of his time off set.
