‘FBI: Most Wanted’ & ‘FBI: International’ Casts Say Goodbye As Canceled Series Wrap Filming: “All Good Things Must Come To An End”

The casts of FBI: Most Wanted and FBI: International bid adieu as their respective canceled series wrapped filming.

While the CBS cancellations were announced in early March, leaving behind mothership series FBI — now in its seventh installment and renewed through the 2026-27 broadcast season — the spinoffs had yet to wrap production and finish filming, meaning they had time to adjust scripts to rework material into series finales.

Though Most Wanted will end after Season 6 and International was canceled after four seasons, the FBI universe is slated to get a new offshoot with the tentatively titled CIA, featuring Lucifer alum Tom Ellis. That spinoff, written by Dick Wolf and Most Wanted showrunner David Hudgins, follows two unlikely partners: a fast-talking, rule-breaking loose cannon CIA case officer (Ellis) and a by-the-book, seasoned and smart FBI agent who believes in the rule of law.

Edwin Hodge, who joined the cast of Most Wanted in Season 4 as special agent Ray Cannon, posted a series of behind-the-scenes photos also featuring star Dylan McDermott to Instagram, in a meaningful tribute.

“All good things must come to an end,” he wrote. “I’m filled with so much abundance and appreciation for this prodigious cast and crew. Thanks to the cast for simply being their authentic selves. My days were filled with laughter every time I went to work. The crew showed everyday to add their magic to make the show a hit as well. All teams stayed on deck and I couldn’t be happier with the work environment and ultimately my experience on the show! I’ll hit you with some new gigs this year.”

Hodgins, who posted a cast and crew photo, remarked, “That’s a wrap on #fbimostwantedcbs. Thank you amazing cast & crew.”

“Gonna miss these cherry blossoms 🌸 🩷 they made my days better and brighter,” wrote cast member Shantel VanSanten, in a tribute to colleagues.

Meanwhile, the International‘s Carter Redwood, shared a video with Green, the dog who plays Tank, Scott Forrester’s (Luke Kleintank) trusty “secret weapon.” The actor wrote affectionately, “4 yrs of hanging with this guy 💛”

Eva-Jane Willis, who beginning in Season 2 has portrayed Europol Agent Megan “Smitty” Garretson, shared a still of herself alongside coworkers Redwood and Vinessa Vidotto: “On this our last day of filming I want to say a special thank you to these two. They were there on Day 1 long before I was and they made it all the way to the finish line. It has been an honour to watch them and learn from them. My favourite duo: and trust me I was asking “will they won’t they” more than anyone! A special round of applause for them- my dear friends. Lots more posts to come to say thank you to all the people that made this such a special experience but for now: it’s Raines and Vo. ❤️”

Christina Wolfe, who joined last season as a special agent, added, That’s a series wrap!! 🎬 Yesterday was our last day filming season 4 in Budapest and sadly, we are now saying goodbye to FBI International. Truly grateful for this chapter and for everyone I met over my two years on this wonderful show. Loved every minute of it. Thanks so much to everyone who worked tirelessly on and off screen to bring it to life – I’ll really miss you and I’ll treasure these memories. And a huge thank you to everyone who tuned in every week!! Don’t miss the last 3 episodes of our final season. Lots of love!! ❤️”

Sydney Sainté, who also debuted last season as Celeste Lee, wrote in part, “oh man. here come the blues! so, these are in no particular order. and they don’t even do the past 10 months on this job justice. such fantastic folk! such a village of warm, compassionate collaborators … missing everyone so bad already. & THERE ARE STILL 3 EPS LEFT TO AIR. don’t miss ‘em.”
