Cancelled FBI: International and Most Wanted Finish Filming Series Finales — Read Messages From the Casts

That’s a wrap for both of CBS’ cancelled FBI spinoffs, FBI: Most Wanted and FBI: International, which finished filming their respective series finales in recent days.

FBI: Most Wanted and FBI: International this season both averaged about 6.5 million total viewers (with delayed playback), down just 9% from their previous seasons. Out of the 14 dramas that CBS has aired this TV season, they veritably tied for eighth — outdrawing the renewed Fire Country, NCIS: Origins and NCIS: Sydney, plus the cancelled S.W.A.T. and The Equalizer.

Meanwhile, a new “FBI Universe Expansion,” tentatively titled CIA and starring Lucifer‘s Tom Ellis, has been ordered to series for the 2025-26 TV season.

FBI: MOST WANTED

Most Wanted‘s Edwin Hodge, who since Season 4 (of six) has played Special Agent Ray Cannon, marked his series’ wrap by posting to Instagram, “All good things must come to an end.

“I’m filled with so much abundance and appreciation for this prodigious cast and crew,” he continued. “Thanks to the cast for simply being their authentic selves. My days were filled with laughter every time I went to work. The crew showed everyday to add their magic to make the show a hit as well. All teams stayed on deck and I couldn’t be happier with the work environment and ultimately my experience on the show!”

Executive producer and former showrunner David Hudgins meanwhile offered a “Thank you” to Most Wanted‘s “amazing cast and crew.”

In Most Wanted‘s series finale, airing Tuesday, May 20 at 10/9c and titled “The Circle Game,” the Fugitive Task Force hunts down a rogue government operative planning a domestic terror attack.

FBI: INTERNATIONAL

Eva-Jane Willis, who since Season 2 has played Europol Agent Megan “Smitty” Garretson, marked International‘s series wrap by sharing on Instagram a tribute to the jet-setting spinoff’s two remaining OGs. “On this our last day of filming I want to say a special thank you to these two,” the South African-Irish actress wrote alongside a photo of her with Vinessa Vidotto and Carter Redwood. “They were there on Day 1 long before I was and they made it all the way to the finish line. It has been an honour to watch them and learn from them. My favourite duo, and trust me I was asking ‘will they won’t they’ more than anyone!” (Vidotto herself reacted to the cancellation news back in March.)

English actress Christina Wolfe, who debuted last season as Special Agent Amanda Tate, shared on Instagram that she is “truly grateful for this chapter and for everyone I met over my two years on this wonderful show. Loved every minute of it. Thanks so much to everyone who worked tirelessly on and off screen to bring it to life — I’ll really miss you and I’ll treasure these memories. And a huge thank you to everyone who tuned in every week!!”

Redwood meanwhile recently reflected on “four years of hanging with this guy” — as in Green, the dog who plays Tank!

FBI: International‘s series finale, airing Tuesday, May 20 at 9 pm and titled “Gaijin,” finds the Fly Team discovers on the trail of a serial killer and heading to Japan to put an end to an international killing spree.
