Yellowstone star Kelsey Asbille’s new movie Don’t Move will be coming to Netflix.
Don’t Move was originally announced for a UK and Irish cinema release with Signature Entertainment, but Variety reports that the worldwide rights for the film have been purchased by Netflix now.
This new distribution deal will see Don’t Move being released worldwide by the streamer, aside from Poland and the Commonwealth of Independent States in Eurasia.
The upcoming film is being produced by Sam Raimi, the iconic filmmaker behind Evil Dead, the original Spider-Man trilogy and horror-tinged Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
Don’t Move features Kelsey Asbille as a young woman who is injected with a paralytic agent by a sadistic serial killer.
This young woman must make her way through the dangerous forest where she’s being held, before the paralytic substance renders her completely helpless. Can she free herself before her body shuts down?
Alongside Kelsey, Don’t Move will also feature American Horror Story and Ratched star Finn Wittrock as well as Daniel Francis (The Wheel of Time and Stay Close).
Filmmaking duo Adam Schindler and Brian Netto (50 States of Fright) have co-directed Don’t Move based on a script by TJ Cimfel and David White (Intruders). Don’t Move was filmed last year in Bulgaria and received a waiver to continue production during the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.
Aside from playing Monica Dutton in Yellowstone, Kelsey also appeared in the fourth season of Fargo and in MTV’s Teen Wolf series.
Her film credits include The Amazing Spider-Man and Jeremy Renner and Elizabeth Olsen’s Western movie Wind River.
Netflix has not yet confirmed the release date for Don’t Move.
