From Beaches to Breakthroughs: Bachelor In Paradise Ditches Mexico For Costa Rica In Bold Season 10 Overhaul

Reality Steve has revealed that Bachelor in Paradise season 10 will have a shocking new filming location, amid signs that the producers are giving the show a much-needed overhaul. Bachelor in Paradise season 10 will have a new showrunner, Scott Teti, and, for the first time ever, it will also include contestants from the Golden Bachelor franchise. So far, The Golden Bachelor runner-up and The Golden Bachelorette contestant Gary Levingston have been announced as cast members, along with The Bachelorette season 21’s Jonathon Johnson and Hakeem Moulton, and The Bachelor season 29’s Zoe McGrady.

Bachelor in Paradise season 10 is changing its filming location from Mexico to Costa Rica.

According to Reality Steve, Bachelor in Paradise season 10 is changing its filming location from Mexico to Costa Rica. Reality Steve shared that he implicitly reported that the show would film in Mexico at the Costa Sur Hotel. He stated that he didn’t know if something fell through, or it was never the case. Reality Steve also shared that it won’t be filming in Sayulita at the Playa Escondida Hotel, where most of the previous seasons were filmed. Instead, the show will take place in Costa Rica, but Reality Steve didn’t know the exact hotel.

Reality Steve also shared that Bachelor in Paradise season 10 will begin filming at the start of next week at the beginning of May, so his guess was that contestants will be flying out this upcoming weekend. He also shared that he didn’t know which contestants would be going, but he pointed out that if someone doesn’t fly out next weekend, it doesn’t necessarily mean that they’re not on the show because they could stagger people’s arrivals like they had in the past.

Reality Steve added that he wasn’t sure if the producers are keeping the same format of the show because there’s a new showrunner, so they might reboot the whole thing.

What The Bachelor In Paradise Season 10 Location Change Means For The Show

Bachelor In Paradise Needs A Fresh Start

Bachelor in Paradise season 10’s location change means that the show will have a much-needed fresh start. None of the couples from Bachelor in Paradise seasons 8 and 9 lasted after the show, whether they left engaged or dating, which indicated that the format was no longer working. Although the show has led to several successful marriages in the past, seasons 8 and 9 were marred by twists that prevented the contestants from really getting to know each other, such as season 8’s Split House twist when they were separated and had even less time together than usual.

Our Take On Bachelor In Paradise’s Location Change

This Will Be Good For The Show

Bachelor in Paradise season 10 is one of the most-anticipated franchise shows because the series has been on a year-long hiatus. It’ll be interesting to see if the new showrunner learns from the show’s past mistakes, and will interfere less with the relationships. Hopefully, Bachelor in Paradise season 10 will lead to as many married couples as season 7 did. From that season, Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt, Kenny Braasch and Mari Pepin, Thomas Jacobs and Becca Kufrin, and Noah Erb and Abigail Heringer have all tied the knot, and Chris Conran and Alana Milne are engaged.

A change of scenery might be just what Bachelor in Paradise needs in order to be successful again. It’s not yet known how the Golden aspect of the season will work, so perhaps the show switched locations in order to accommodate the two different groups of contestants. It’s going to be very intriguing to see how this all plays out when Bachelor in Paradise returns this summer.
