Although Isaac’s Ghosts season 4 role has proven that he has a lot of maturing to do before he is likely to vanish, other ghosts are closer to redemption. Sass has done a lot to help out Sam, Jay, and his fellow ghosts, while Trevor noted that Thor has spent centuries making up for his lifetime of bloodshed through kind acts as a ghost. Speaking of Trevor, he is working overtime to become a better person, although I fear that his misuse of his impressive ghost power is doing him no favors in this regard.

Ghosts Season 4’s Trevor Stories Fit A Frustrating Pattern
Like many of the sitcom’s ghostly heroes, Trevor has a unique supernatural ability. He can move very small objects very slightly, which sounds unimpressive until viewers realize that this allows him to text, email, and generally use a computer. Trevor’s power makes him uniquely capable of communicating with the living, with only Sass’s ability to enter the dreams of other people coming close to this ability. Sadly, much like my least favorite Ghosts character refuses to grow years after their death, Trevor has only ever used his powers in ways that reinforce the worst aspects of his personality.
In season 4, episode 11, “Thorapy 2: Abandonment Issues,” Trevor used his powers to change Bela’s online orders for Jay’s restaurant, causing chaos when it transpired that her original order was correct. In episode 15, “The Bachelorette Party,” Trevor pays off a critic reviewing Mahesh for a positive review without telling Jay, much like he changed Bela’s shrimp order without telling her. The main problem is, pretty consistently, that Trevor needs to communicate with the living before putting his plans in motion.
This was also true of Trevor working a remote job for weeks before telling Sam and Jay, which eventually came to light back in episode 4, “The Work Retreat.” Although Ghosts season 4’s favourite character is clearly Pete, Trevor still gets plenty of screen time and subplots in this outing of the sitcom. As such, it is frustrating when the show repeatedly follows the same pattern with his storylines. Trevor has a potentially good idea, but he refuses to share it with the human characters until it is too late.

Trevor could collaborate with Sam and Jay in Ghosts season 4’s latter half if he stops trying to pull off schemes without giving them any prior warning. Trevor has already worked a remote job for months, so he could definitely handle their restaurant’s social media presence or do other online support for Mahesh. He is also experienced in the world of finance and, his obsession with so-called “Upscale breast-aurants” aside, he has some offbeat but good ideas for how to run a business.
It is time for Trevor to put his unique skill to better use and time for Ghosts season 4 to embrace his potential.

As more spirit powers come to light in Ghosts season 4, it is time for him to put his unique skill to better use and time for the sitcom to embrace his potential.
