‘Star Wars: The Bad Batch’ premiered today with three episodes. In the first episode, we saw Omega trying to plan an escape from Tantiss. The second episode focused on Hunter and Wrecker trying to rescue her. After meeting Lady Durand, Hunter and Wrecker had a rough idea of where Hemlock’s lab might be. However, when they reached the Jungle planet, they found everything but Omega’s and Hemlock’s lab. Instead, they encountered three clones who needed help just like Omega. Let’s find out more about Mox, Stak, and Deke.
It’s unclear for how long Mox, Stak, and Deke were left abandoned
In Episode 2 of ‘Bad Batch’ Season 3, Hunter and Wrecker began gathering intel on Hemlock’s lab location. Lady Durand, grateful for Hunter and Wrecker’s assistance in capturing the Pyke responsible for disgracing her family, provided them with coordinates. However, upon arriving at the Jungle planet, they discovered that the Empire had destroyed their base of operations, leaving little evidence of what happened to their research or Omega.
Despite the devastation, Hunter and Wrecker refused to believe that Omega was lost. As they approached the ruins, they were unexpectedly attacked by two clones, Deke and Stak.
Hunter and Wrecker quickly noticed that Deke and Stak were normal clones, and Deke and Stak realized that Hunter and Wrecker were part of Clone Force 99 because they looked different. Deke and Stak were scared, thinking the Empire sent Hunter and Wrecker to harm them. They said they’d been surviving on their own for a while, but didn’t know exactly how long.
Mox, Stak, and Deke were crucial in dealing with the dangerous slither vines
Once Wrecker and Hunter assured the two clones they meant no harm, Stak and Deke led them to the third member of their group, Mox. The trio explained that they were the only survivors of a bombing when Hemlock moved his base. Originally, they thought they were being transferred from Kamino for more training, but they were actually used in Hemlock’s Necromancer project experiments. They escaped before the facility was destroyed.

Upon arriving at their modest cave, Wrecker and Hunter clarified that they were searching for Omega, a female clone. Deke hadn’t spotted Omega at the lab, but he recalled seeing a functional control panel amid the ruins during his previous scavenging. Choosing to aid Hunter and Wrecker, Deke joined their search. However, Mox and Stak declined, unwilling to risk themselves for a stranger.
Stak and Mox planned to leave the planet, but their emotions stopped them
Once Deke went to the lab with Wrecker and Hunter, Stak and Mox considered stealing the Clone Force’s ship to get away. They were unsure about leaving their brother Deke behind, but they thought about trying to escape anyway. Just as they were going to do it, Mox spotted Omega’s toys in the ship’s cockpit. This made them realize that there might be something stronger connecting the clones than just duty.
At that moment, Deke reached out to Mox and Stak for help because he and Wrecker and Hunter were under attack by a huge Slither Vines creature, threatening to devour them.
After the clones were rescued and narrowly avoided being eaten by the mutated planet, Stak, Mox, and Deke admitted they didn’t know what to do now that they had left the empire. Hunter assured them they’d have time to figure it out, but first, they would be taken to Pabu, an island known as a safe place away from the empire’s reach.
