She was so apprehensive about the situation, but all those jitters were nowhere to be found in episode 12.

Lucy is much more confident and comfortable about the idea of her and Tim hooking up in The Rookie season 7, episode 12. Of course, a purely sexual relationship isn’t going to fix them. They must talk about their breakup and the problems that led up to it before they can fully rekindle their romance. The writers and producers may want to stretch out “Chenford’s” breakup even longer, now knowing there is more time to do. It’s more likely that fans will see Tim and Lucy rekindle their romance by the end of The Rookie season 7, though.
