ScreenRant is proud to present an exclusive clip from FBI: International season 4, episode 15. “They May Get Their Wish” airs Tuesday, March 18 at 9 p.m. ET and is available to stream next-day on Paramount+. The official synopsis reads: “When a televangelist on the FBI’s most wanted list surfaces in Gibraltar to seek asylum, the Fly Team’s attempts to take him down hit a roadblock as they face political stonewalling upon arrival to the region. When the predatory preacher goes after the daughter of a disciple as his next target, the team must abandon protocol to intervene.”
In ScreenRant’s sneak peek, Wes (Jesse Lee Soffer) receives a call from his ex-girlfriend, Ella (Jade Tailor). She shares that their house has a buyer, and the two agree to split the property taxes. However, it becomes evident that the reason for contacting him goes beyond finances. Ella asks for help with a tricky case, but Wes shuts her down, suggesting she run it up the chain of command.
Wes And Ella Are Introduced In FBI: International Season 4, Episode 1
The Couple Breaks Up At The End Of The Premiere
Wes first appears alongside Ella in FBI: International season 4, episode 1, “A Leader, Not a Tourist.” His introduction is a result of Luke Kleintank exiting the series, which leaves the Fly Team in need of a new leader. Wes travels to Budapest after his partner is shot and reunites with his former trainee, Special Agent Cameron Vo.
The premiere’s opening scene makes it clear that Wes and Ella’s relationship is shaky. Their breakup feels like the right decision, especially following Wes’ new career move. “They May Get Their Wish” is the first time Jade Tailor appears onscreen following the couple’s split. While a romantic reconciliation between them feels unlikely, Wes and Ella share a history that will likely come back into play during the new installment.
FBI: International was recently canceled by CBS, alongside FBI: Most Wanted. Both still have a handful of episodes left before their series finales, so viewers don’t have to say goodbye to the respective teams just yet. However, FBI has been renewed for additional seasons, meaning that the characters will remain in the universe and can appear in the flagship show down the line.
