Kaley Cuoco Shares the 2 Things She Must Have While Traveling with 23-Month-Old Daughter Matilda: ‘Not an Easy Thing’

The ‘Big Bang Theory’ alum shares her only child with fiancé Tom Pelphrey

Kaley Cuoco is sharing her ultimate toddler traveling hack.

The Big Bang Theory alum, 39, spoke with Access Hollywood’s Zuri Hall about globetrotting around the world with her daughter Matilda, 23 months. Cuoco, who welcomed her only child in March 2023 with her fiancé Tom Pelphrey, shared her top travel advice for moms traveling with a toddler.

“Traveling is really hard. I got a kid now, so it’s like not an easy thing,” she told Hall. “Matilda flies well. She really does.”

When asked about her tips for traveling with Matilda, the actress revealed her secret is “a lot of snacks and a lot of alcohol,” before quickly adding that the alcohol is “for the parents.”

The Flight Attendant actress and Ozark actor, 42, publicly confirmed their relationship in May 2022, ahead of welcoming their daughter on March 30, 2023. The couple announced the exciting news of her birth on Instagram, calling her the “new light of our lives” alongside a set of family photos.

“We are overjoyed and grateful for this little miracle 💓,” Cuoco wrote. “We are blessed beyond belief 💗 @tommypelphrey didn’t think I could fall even more in love with you, but I did 💗.”

Since then, the proud parents haven’t shied away from sharing sweet snaps of their little girl on social media, including Matilda twinning with Cuoco and cuddling up with Pelphrey.

On Nov. 25, 2024 the actress appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and compared looking after her daughter Matilda to taking care of a drunk best friend.

“I was explaining to her that taking care of a 19-month-old is like taking care of your drunk best friend every day,” Cuoco joked. “They’re crying when they don’t get what they want, you’re making sure they make it to the bathroom or you’re cleaning their throw up from whatever.”

“They’re out of their minds and you’re making sure they don’t die all day long,” she continued. “And then they black out and you’re like ready to die and they wake up and they’re like, ‘What’s for breakfast?’”

“And you’re like, ‘What?’ I’m like, ‘Do you even know what happened last night?’ ” she said, adding that it was “insane and it happens every day.”
