It’s a Dick Wolf love story for Chicago Fire alum Michael Bradway and FBI: International star Verónica Álvarez Sánchez. Bradway — who starred as firefighter Jack Damon from Seasons 12 to 13 of Chicago Fire — announced in an Instagram post on February 24 that he and Sánchez were engaged.
“Got Engaged To My Best Friend! 💔💔 @veronicastclair,” he captioned a series of Instagram photos of him and his new fiancée, who plays Special Agent Riley Quinn on FBI: International. Sánchez, for her part, also shared her own Instagram with the caption, “🤍 Sweethearts, forever!! 🤍.” Bradway commented a smiley face on her post.
After their engagement announcement. many of Bradway’s former Chicago Fire co-stars took to his comments to congratulate him on the happy news. “Omfg!! 🥹🥰 congrats you cuties!!” wrote Hanako Greensmith, who plays paramedic Violet Mikami.
Yay! Congrats!” commented Randy Flagler, who portrays firefighter Harold Capp.
Miranda Rae Mayo, who stars as Lieutenant Stella Kidd, wrote, “😍😍😍😍🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 that ring is worthyyyy of her finger. Congratulations you two!!” Jocelyn Hudon, who joined Chicago Fire at the same time as Bradway as paramedic Lyla Novak, seven prayer hand emojis.
Bradway’s Chicago Fire character, Jack Damon — who is also the half-brother of Lieutenant Kelly Severide — left the series in Season 13 after he was kicked out of Firehouse 51 by Chief Dom Pascal when Pascal learns that Damon disobeyed a direct order and lied to his brother’s wife, Lieutenant Stella Kidd. Sánchez, for her part, made her debut as Special Agent Riley Quinn on FBI: International on February 18, 2025, the week before she and Bradway announced their engagement.
Before FBI: International, Sánchez starred on NBC’s La Brea from Seasons 1 to 3. She also appeared in shows like Netflix’s 13 Reasons Why and Unbelievable. Bradway, for his part, is set to appear in the movie, Marked Men, in 2025. The movie co-stars Outer Banks star Chase Stokes and The Hunger Games‘ Alexander Ludwig.
