We have a little more Bridgerton season four information from Luke Newton, who portrays Colin Bridgerton on the show!
If you don’t know, the 32-year-old actor was the co-lead for season three alongside Nicola Coughlan. They have now passed the torch to season four’s Luke Thompson, who plays Benedict Bridgerton, as well as his new co-lead Yerin Ha, who portrays his love interest Sophie Baek.
During an interview with Variety at the 2025 SAG Awards, Luke Newton revealed they’re still filming season four, and gave some insight!
“I fly in the next couple of days [to resume filming]. I’ll be shaving my beard and back on set before you know it,” Luke shared, confirming they’re still filming season four. “It’s great fun this season. Nic [Coughlan] and I, we get to explore happily married life. We have a baby.”
About the upcoming season, he added, “It’s just this beautiful love story this season. Something really different from what we’ve explored previously in the show.”
He then shared that there’s some big moments this season!
“I actually had a jaw-drop moment when I was reading it. I had to text Luke Thompson. There are real jaw drop moments this season. I can’t wait to see them, for the world to see them,” he teased.
If you didn’t see, one Bridgerton star was not asked back for season 4 and several seem to be exiting the show!
