The Buzz Lightyear actor has come out with some statements about the plight of Zachary Bryan.
Home Improvement star Tim Allen has come to speak about his co-star from the show, Zachery Bryan. While the latter has been able to keep a sturdy head on his shoulders, it seems that the last few years have seen the actor go down a pretty tragic spiral, leading to convictions and accusations of swindling money from friends.
Zachary Bryan, who played Tim Allen’s son in the show Home Improvement, has fallen on hard times, and Allen has decided to comment on the matter. Bryan has gone through multiple alcohol-related arrests, a domestic violence charge, and has allegedly been part of a digital token scam.
Tim Allen has made a statement to The Hollywood Reporter
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, the Toy Story alum talked about what he thought of the heap of trouble that his younger co-star has found himself. The actor said:
“All you can do is step aside and let somebody go through their process. At a certain point, he deviated from the guy I know to somebody who is reacting to situations that I had nothing to do with and can’t control … I don’t know what happens when people get corrupted. You just don’t know.”
Tim Allen was straightforward with what he had to say. He was clearly unhappy at his younger co-star’s plight but had decided not to interfere with the course that the younger actor had found himself in. He hoped for the best, of course, but has since completely disengaged from the situation.
Zachary Bryan has found himself in a host of trouble
The host of problems that the actor has found himself in is by no means small in number. From misuse of digital tokens to pleading guilty to multiple misdemeanors, it looks like Bryan has definitely seen better days, in his career and his personal life. The company that he was involved with for the digital token business, put out a statement with regards to Bryan’s behavior from whom he split following his conviction. Bryan had engaged in a type of fundraising the company had decided not to go ahead with, adding to the actor’s legal troubles.
Tim Allen talked about what he thinks of Bryan’s particular situation, choosing to stay away from the matter. He still cares for the actor (who played his eldest son in Home Improvement), but has decided to keep his distance with all of the troubles that have come his way.
