Longtime fans of Jennifer Love Hewitt know that the 9-1-1 star doesn’t typically like to discuss her personal life with husband Brian Hallisay. While that may be her usual modus operandi, she recently shared details about a special moment with him when she sent her a rare shout-out on social media.

In a new photo posted to the Ghost Whisperer actress’s Instagram, she gave her followers a look at her family’s Halloween party. It turns out that the day filled with costumes and collages of famous Tim Burton movies was a double celebration, as she revealed that it was also Brian’s birthday.

“It was an amazing Halloween,” she wrote on October 31. “Definitely lots of fun and magic and love for my husband on his birthday!”

Although Brian and their three kids — Autumn, Atticus, and Aidan — weren’t in the photos, that didn’t stop people from reaching out to Jennifer to (virtually) participate in the birthday lantern.

“Looks amazing!! I need to get on your level. Happy Birthday Brian, hope everyone has a great day! Sending love ❤️,” one person wrote in the Instagram comments. “This is amazing!!! Happy Halloween/Birthday!! 🎃🥳,” another added. “Wow! I’m always impressed with what you do for every holiday! Love it! ❤️👻🎃☠️,” another fan said.

Clearly, Jennifer has a personal connection to the holiday, as she wouldn’t post much holiday-themed content with Brian in the middle of it all. Just a few weeks ago, she posted a photo of him enjoying the pumpkin decorations she had put up, with her followers begging her to share more family content online. But that may have to go as she remains busy with side projects.

While working on season 6 of 9-1-1, the I Know What You Did Last Summer actress just announced a collaboration with the brand 2021 Co., which has a full line of Christmas-themed stationery in time for the holiday season. Maybe we’ll see Brian get in on the fun too?
