9-1-1 Season 8 Trailer: A ‘Bee-Nado’ Invades Los Angeles in Three-Part Premiere
If your tastes lie somewhere between bees and mustaches, you’re really going to love this first look at the new season of 9-1-1, which premieres Thursday, Sept. 26 (8/7c) on ABC.

Split into three parts, the Season 8 opener finds Los Angeles plagued by a million little troublemakers, as seen in the just-released first trailer. The 60-second spot also includes a shot of Eddie Diaz’s mustache, arguably the best addition to the show since Eddie himself.

Barring a last-minute announcement, we can expect the entire main cast of the series to return for Season 8. Those names include Angela Bassett as Athena, Peter Krause as Bobby, Oliver Stark as Buck, Aisha Hinds as Hen, Kenneth Choi as Chimney, Jennifer Love Hewitt as Maddie, Ryan Guzman as Eddie, and Gavin McHugh as Christopher—though don’t expect to see the last of them right away.

“I know for a fact that in the first episode [of Season 8], we probably won’t see Eddie and Christopher together,” Ryan Guzman recently revealed to TVLine, after Christopher left in the Season 7 finale. But we can’t blame the poor kid. Who among us can say for sure how we’d react to finding out our dad was having an affair with our dead mom’s doppelganger?

Another unfortunate twist is also afoot in Season 8. The finale revealed Gerrard as the new captain of 118, and while it’s a twist no one wanted, Krause is choosing to look at the glass half full. “I like them banging each other,” Krause told TVLine. “I can see Gerrard really resenting Bobby for getting all this positive attention after he took over Gerrard’s fire station, and now we want to take that back.”
