The eighth season of ABC’s 9-1-1 celebrates Halloween with its fifth episode, “Masks,” filled with bizarre rescues and nightmarish situations. Episode five will air on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at 8 p.m. ET.
The cast is led by Peter Krause as Bobby Nash and Angela Bassett as Athena Grant-Nash. Jennifer Love Hewitt plays Maddie Han, Oliver Stark plays Evan “Buck” Buckley, Kenneth Choi plays Howie “Chimney” Han, Aisha Hinds plays Henrietta “Hen” Wilson, Ryan Guzman plays Eddie Diaz, and Gavin McHugh plays Christopher Diaz.
“Masks” Plot: The 118th Division is once again working on the spookiest night of the year and missing out on all the tricks and treats. Meanwhile, Buck’s Halloween decorations turn out to be a little scarier than he expected.

These emergency responders must balance saving the most vulnerable while dealing with the problems in their own lives.
