5 Things ‘SEAL Team’ Must Do in Season 7 to Give the Show a Perfect End
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: With the seventh and final season of the popular series ‘SEAL Team’ currently airing, there are many things that loyal fans can look forward to in the show’s finale. The creative brainchild of Benjamin Cavell, ‘SEAL Team’ has captured the hearts of fans since its debut on September 27, 2017.
From shocking developments to the deaths of beloved characters, ‘SEAL Team’ fans have seen it all, so it makes sense that they get a beautiful ending to their beloved show. From fresh revelations to character development, let’s explore 5 things the creators can do to make this beloved show a great farewell.
Drew Franklin (Dylan Walsh) is a mysterious figure who joined Bravo Team in Season 7. Despite the best efforts of Percival ‘Sonny’ Quinn (AJ Buckley) and Omar Hamza (Raffi Barsoumian), Drew seemed uninterested in working with Bravo. However, he eventually admitted that he was hesitant to connect with Bravo in Episode 5 of Season 7 when Drew talked about losing his entire team, Echo, during an operation in Jalalabad, Afghanistan, when they entered a house that exploded, killing everyone.
Drew, who was gone at the time, still regrets losing his teammates, which explains his hesitation to open up to Bravo Team. It will be fascinating to see Drew finally feel comfortable in Bravo Team and connect with his teammates. Furthermore, Drew’s family lineage has been revealed to be as colorful as one could imagine in Season 7. So it will be interesting to see what the big deal is with the family before the final season ends.
We saw Bravo Team pivot from stopping terrorist attacks to working against the drug trade in ‘SEAL Team’ Season 7. It all started when, after being sidelined for a long time following their rebellion in season six, Bravo Team was finally reinstated to get to the bottom of the fentanyl business. We watched the team try to figure out what was going on and in the process, they rescued someone they cared about, Jun Li Lin’s confidant Han, and her family from being tortured by drug cartels.
The real goal is to link Chinese citizen Jun, who has close ties to Beijing, to the fentanyl business, which could put them at odds with China on an international scale, and we have seen Bravo Team’s efforts to achieve that. While the team has taken on difficult and challenging missions in the past, the fentanyl mission could be their last, one that fans will enjoy for the longest time. So with Jason Hayes (David Boreanaz) gone, Bravo Team has to take matters into their own hands to ensure Bravo wins once again.
Since the start of Season 7 of ‘SEAL Team’, it seems like Jason Hayes (David Boreanaz) is battling his own demons, which were triggered in Episode 2 when he killed a terrorist in Sweden. Things quickly escalate when he sees gory images every time he kills someone, suggesting that his TBI has gotten worse.
Furthermore, his sudden decision to return to action in Episode 5 of ‘SEAL Team’ is a shocking decision as it is the first time he has done so as he has never left mid-deployment, leaving his teammates confused. Hopefully, Hayes will receive the best treatment possible, allowing him to recover and join Bravo Team, leading to their victory.
