CBS has made several major decisions regarding the NCIS franchise, renewing multiple long-running series while canceling one recent spinoff.
NCIS — Renewed for Season 24

The flagship series NCIS has officially been renewed for Season 24, extending its reign as one of television’s longest-running dramas.
Led by Special Agent Alden Parker (Gary Cole), the team continues to tackle high-stakes cases involving the Navy and Marine Corps. Parker is joined by veteran agent Timothy McGee, undercover specialist Nick Torres, REACT agent Jessica Knight, medical examiner Jimmy Palmer, forensic scientist Kasie Hines, and NCIS Director Leon Vance.
From murder and espionage to terrorism and stolen submarines, the series remains a cornerstone of CBS’ primetime lineup.
NCIS: Tony & Ziva — Canceled After 1 Season
Cancellation Announced: December 19, 2025
NCIS: Tony & Ziva has been officially canceled after one season on Paramount+.
The spinoff reunited fan favorites Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo, reprising their iconic roles as Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David. The series premiered in September 2025 and focused on the couple’s life after leaving NCIS.
Although the show will not continue, its first and only season remains available to stream on Paramount+.
