Boston Blue follows Danny Reagan as he transfers to the Boston Police Department and is partnered with Detective Lena Silver, played by Star Trek: Discovery alum Sonequa Martin-Green. Lena hails from a prominent Boston law enforcement family, setting the stage for a new dynamic family while still honoring the Reagan legacy.
Although the reason for Danny’s move from New York is still unclear, CBS has teased that his story will stay emotionally connected to his rootsâeven as new characters and city politics come into play.
